Jody and her partner Roger started On The Road Again back in 2000 as a mobile mechanic out of a 24 foot trailer at rallies and events. They changed oil and tires for guys out on the road. Sadly, Roger passed on since then but his and Jody's legacy and shop live on.
Today she has two mechanics working full time out of her 3500 square foot shop located just south of Oakland Park Blvd. at 3025 NE 6th Ave in Oakland Park, Florida. They have everything you need for you and your Harley! Like every other shop they offer new parts.
Unlike every other shop and one of many things that set them apart is that they also offer used parts. Nothing gets tossed. One man's garbage is another man's gold. I find this to be a rare treasure.
The last time I was in while standing around shooting the breeze I couldn't help but let my eyes gaze over to the piles and large bucket fulls of take off part just laying around. Eventually my eyes, with only a little help from my rummaging hands, found the perfect left shorty mirror for my Sportster that I lovingly refer to as Grace.
It's that kind of a cool old school shop like it's owner Jody, who was at the Woodstock Music Festival. It's a shop with old fashioned pegboard instead of designer displays. It's a peaceful, easy feeling at On The Road Again.
Mechanics, Paul and Gary, are there full time to help you with anything for your bike from mild to wild. Whether it's just basic maintenance or a full blown custom build or rebuild you're interested in, stop by, grab a cold one out of the fridge and talk to the crew at On The Road Again and tell them Contos sent you from the Crossroads!
C-ya... at the Crossroads!
